What FlightLen Shows

FlightLen displays live aircraft over the United States with callsign, altitude, ground speed, heading, registration, and aircraft type when those fields are available from public aircraft data feeds. The count in the map corner reflects tracked aircraft, while the map renders a balanced sample so the page remains usable.

Airport Weather Context

The METAR/TAF checker uses AviationWeather.gov reports to show winds, visibility, cloud layers, ceilings, temperature, dew point, and forecast periods. Search by airport identifier to compare live traffic with current aviation weather before opening an airport page.

For Pilots and Learners

Student pilots and aviation enthusiasts can use FlightLen to build situational awareness around Class B, C, D, and many smaller airports. FlightLen is informational and does not replace official briefings, charts, NOTAMs, ATC instructions, or certified flight planning.
